SoundHaus Studios was born out of a deep passion for the arts. It was founded for those who share a profound love for music, creativity, and artistic expression. This was recognized by the transformative power of music and sought to create a space where artists could thrive, grow, and connect with their audiences.
Driven by the love for the arts, this is a studio that provides a nurturing environment for musicians, singers, and artists of all kinds. SoundHaus Studios is the embodiment of this vision, offering state-of-the-art recording facilities, rehearsal spaces, and a collaborative atmosphere that inspires and supports the artistic process.
This extends beyond the technical aspects of music production. We are deeply committed to fostering a vibrant creative community, where artists can come together, exchange ideas, and collaborate on projects. SoundHausStudios hosts events, workshops, and networking opportunities to facilitate these connections and promote a sense of artistic camaraderie.

Terms and Conditions
By reserving rehearsal/studio time, you are deemed to have read and agreed to the following terms and conditions:
SETUP AND TEAR-DOWN
Visitors and Musicians are required to setup and tear down within their block of session time.
For example, if a musician/band reserved session time from 6pm-9pm, they would begin setup at 6pm and must be completely vacated from the rehearsal room by 9pm. If you need more time, reserve more time to accommodate your needs. 15 min grace period is permissible upon request.

AVAILABILITY
Session bookings, times and dates are subject to availability and approval from a member of the SoundHaus Studios/ JFDU reserves the right to refuse and reschedule any confirmed bookings.

PERSONAL ITEMS
Please make sure that you do not leave personal items unattended and ensure that you take all of your belongings with you when you leave. SoundHaus Studios/ JFDU is not responsible for any personal items that are lost or damaged on the premises.

24-HOUR CANCELLATION POLICY ON ALL CONFIRMED BOOKINGS
SoundHaus Studios/ JFDU requires 24 hours notice for cancellation on approved (confirmed) bookings. Late cancellations and no-shows are subject to a $50.00 charge.

ALCOHOL AND DRUG-FREE ENVIRONMENT
No drugs or alcohol are permitted at SoundHaus Studios/ JFDU.

DAMAGES
You break it, you bought it. Any damages caused to SoundHaus Studios/ JFDU equipment or premises by visitors, musicians, or bands are subject to reimbursement at replacement value and the person(s) responsible will be held liable.

COVID-19
I acknowledge the contagious nature of the Coronavirus/COVID-19 and that Health Canada, BC Health and other public health authorities still recommend practicing social distancing.
I further acknowledge that SoundHaus Studios/ JFDU has put in place preventative measures to reduce the spread of the Coronavirus/COVID-19.
I further acknowledge that SoundHaus Studios/ JFDU can not guarantee that I will not become infected with the Coronavirus/Covid-19.
I understand that the risk of becoming exposed to and/or infected by the Coronavirus/COVID-19 may result from the actions, omissions, or negligence of myself and others, including, but not limited to, studio staff, and other studio clients and their families.
I voluntarily seek services provided by SoundHaus Studios/ JFDU and acknowledge that I am increasing my risk to exposure to the Coronavirus/COVID-19.
I acknowledge that I must comply with all set procedures to reduce the spread while attending my appointment.
I attest that:

I am not experiencing any symptom of illness such as cough, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, fever, chills, repeated shaking with chills, muscle pain, headache, sore throat, or new loss of taste or smell.

I have not traveled internationally within the last 14 days.

I have not traveled to a highly impacted area within Canada in the last 14 days.

I do not believe I have been exposed to someone with a suspected and/or confirmed case of the Coronavirus/COVID-19.

I have not been diagnosed with Coronavirus/Covid-19 and not yet cleared as non contagious by provincial or local public health authorities.

I am following all Health Canada and other public health authorities’ recommended guidelines as much as possible and limiting my exposure to the Coronavirus/COVID-19.
I hereby release and agree to hold SoundHaus Studios/ JFDU harmless from, and waive on behalf of myself, my heirs, and any personal representatives any and all causes of action, claims, demands, damages, costs, expenses and compensation for damage or loss to myself and/or property that may be caused by any act, or failure to act of the studio, or that may otherwise arise in any way in connection with any services received from SoundHaus Studios/ JFDU from any liability or claim that I, my heirs, or any personal representatives may have against the studio with respect to any bodily injury, illness, death, medical treatment, or property damage that may arise from, or in connection to, any services received from SoundHaus Studios/ JFDU. This liability waiver and release extends to the studio together with all owners, partners, and employees.
By signing below, I acknowledge that I have read and understood this waiver in its entirety and agree to be bound by its terms and conditions.
